FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q. Can the grass grow back through the mulch?
A. Certainly. Although additional seeding is recommended, any grass seed in the ground will grow up through the mulch without and problems.
Q. Do you have a minimum or maximum size area you will work on?
A. We have cleared small lots for individuals as well as hundreds of acres for park services.
Q. Does the brush grow back from the roots?
A. It depends. The trees will not grow back from the roots, they will be killed. The smaller scrub bushes will eventually grow back, but periodic maintenance with a field mower or brush hog will prevent that.
Q. How much land can be cleared in a given amount of time?
A. The amount of land we can clear in a given amount of time depends on a few factors. The terrain, large rocks and desirable trees to work around and how thick the brush is all play a part in the time it will take to clear your land. You can contact us for an estimate by clicking the contact us link above.
Q. What about rocks and slopes?
A. We work around rocks and slopes all the time. Unless there is an extreme circumstance, most slopes and rocks are not a problem. If you are in doubt, Contact Us for an estimate.
Q. What happens to the mulch when you are finished?
A. The mulch will be left in place. This process has many benefits including holding moisture in the soil, reducing erosion, and preventing “scarring” of the ground due to the lack of vegetation. The mulch will assist the earth in regaining stability after the brush has been cleared.
Q. What happens to the trees I want to keep?
A. Any desirable trees will be noted and will be left untouched. We will only clear what you want cleared.
